Important Reminders for the 2026 Homecoming Parade

As Kearney School District gets ready for one of our community’s favorite traditions, here are a couple of important Homecoming reminders for Bulldog families:

Homecoming Parade
The 2026 KHS Homecoming Parade will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25. Groups planning to participate in the parade must submit their Parade Entry Form by the end of the school day TODAY, Friday, Sept. 18. Parade participants are limited to school organizations and extensions of our youth sports programs.

There will also be a required parade meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the KHS Commons. The driver and a representative from each participating group or team must attend.

Last Chance for Bulldog Yard Signs
Want to show your Bulldog pride at home? The Bulldog Yard Sign online store closes tonight at midnight! The popular Bulldog signs are $59 with a stake, and families can add up to three personalized plaques for $13 each featuring a student’s name, sport, club, class or activity. Proceeds support the 2026 KHS Prom.

Signs are expected to be delivered the week of Oct. 19.
