KSD encourages visiting fans to use new I-35 interchange and park on the south side of Bulldog Stadium

Kearney, Mo., November 14, 2023: The Kearney High School Bulldogs will take on the Nevada Tigers at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 at home in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) football championship tournament.

The Bulldog Stadium gates will open at 11:30 a.m. Game tickets are $8 and can only be purchased digitally through the MSSHAA website at www.mshsaa.org/Tickets.aspx. Click “FOOTBALL,” then select “Class 4” and “GET TICKETS” for the appropriate game. A livestream broadcast of the game can be purchased at www.mshsaa.tv/?B=758948.

It is anticipated that this will be a popular game with a high turnout. Visiting fans are encouraged to use the new mile-25 exit on I-35 at East 19th Street, go south on Highway 33 to Meadowbrook Drive, then east towards Kearney Junior High School where they can park in the lot to the south of the stadium. This will give them the shortest walk to the visitor side of the field.

KHS football has a 10-2 season record. The Bulldogs earned the 2023 district championship with their 29-13 on-the-road win over Highway 92 rival Smithville on Friday, Nov. 10.
