Macy Hughes to attend Park University and Keanon McNally picks Tulane
Kearney, Mo., February 14, 2022: Kearney High School student-athletes Macy Hughes and Keanon McNally signed collegiate letters of intent during a ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
Macy will be attending Park University to play soccer. She talked about how one of her favorite memories during her time playing for KHS was getting to start the state championship match in her freshman year.
“Macy is a tremendously hard-working athlete,” Head Coach Amanda Hopkins said. “She has fought her way through adversity and come back stronger than ever. She has been a leader in our program, both on and off the field. We are so glad that she will forever be in the bulldog soccer family. We look forward to watching her continue her soccer career at Park University.”
Keanon will play football at Tulane University. His personal KHS highlights included beating Winnetonka High School in districts as a junior and going on canoe trips with his teammates.
“I am very proud of Keanon and all he has done to put himself in a position to play at the next level,” Coach Josh Gray said. “He has done a great job of getting his priorities in order. Keanon has a bright future ahead. I am excited to see excel at the next level.”
